2021 AGM - July 10 @ Paradise Village RV Park

Dear Shareholders,

This email is to provide notice of our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to take place on Saturday, July 10th at 9:00 am at the Back Field at Paradise Village RV Park.

Registration will begin at 8:45 am. We hope to have everyone checked in early so that the meeting can start promptly at 9:00 am.

Please bring your own chair as well as your own copies of the meeting documents.

We heard from some Shareholders that they did not want the AGM on a long weekend and we tried to be mindful of that, but we also hope to have a good turnout for the meeting because there are a lot of important things to go over and vote on. If you can’t make it to the meeting, please give your proxy to someone who can. The proxy can be brought in person to the meeting or scanned and emailed to the Board at least 48 hours before the start of the meeting.

We are hoping to be in Phase 3 of the BC Reopening Plan by the time of the meeting. This would allow for an outdoor, organized gathering of over 50 people (guidelines have not yet specified an exact allowable number). If possible, we ask that you please send one representative from your lot to keep the number of attendees at an appropriate level. If there are many attendees, we will separate into two distanced groups.

We are still in the COVID-19 pandemic and we need to follow health and safety protocols:

  • Keep 2m (6ft) away from anyone who is not in your household or social bubble – this includes while moving through the meeting area, lining up to register, and while seated.
  • Provincial protocols state that there cannot be mingling during the event nor socializing before or after.
  • Please do not come to the meeting if you are feeling ill or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

We are hoping to get through the agenda in a timely fashion. We realize that the meeting is the Shareholders’ chance to consider and discuss a lot of information. We have provided background notes to hopefully provide context and answer some questions ahead of time. Please email the Board if you have a question or suggestion and we will try to have a response ready by meeting time.

In order to be eligible to vote at the AGM (receive a lot paddle), a Shareholder must have all fees, assessments, electrical bills, fines and other financial obligations paid in full and be a Shareholder in good standing. If you are in the middle of a share transfer and need to check who should be attending on behalf of your lot, please let us know.
