Plan Contracting has contacted the Park and is confident that the lake levels are low enough they can begin Phase 2 of the septic system project. The process will be to empty and decommission the existing tanks along Beach Drive. This will involve trenching from 1st to 4th along Beach drive making the road unusable.  They will then be running a six inch hose from the beach to the back field to remove the lake water from the trench. Next, will be rerouting the sewer lines to the site of the new lift station. Installation of the new lift station and then connecting the septic lines to carry sewage in and effluent out. Lastly, back filling in the excavated areas, replacing topsoil, seeding the grass areas and making the electrical connections.  As noted below is the scope of work that Plan Contracting is completing.

The Park will need to be closed while work on the septic system is completed. Unfortunately after the tanks are decommissioned there simply cannot be any contaminated water sent down the sewer lines as it poses a significant safety risk to the workers and an environmental impact as well.  It is not an easy decision to close the Park to shareholders, however in order to prevent any issues with the project and the contractor this must occur. It is hoped that the closure will be as limited as possible but at this time will be from September 6, 2022 until September 27, 2022. . . . . Cont.
